Welcome to Cobbler's Cottage in the city of Dunblane – your home away from home

Centrally located between Glasgow and Edinburgh, this bespoke cottage has been lovingly refurbished to provide high end accommodation with open plan bedroom, living and kitchen area.  The cottage is a two minute walk from the train station and local amenities, baker, restaurant, cafe, pharmacy, mini supermarket and lots more. It is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers and families (with kids). Our studio cottage is a mix of modern and Scottish theme decor epitomising open plan living.  We provide a comfy king size bed with extra blankets for extra warmth on those cold winter nights.  The property has been well insulated with electric heating throughout.  The comfy sofa can also be a sofa bed.  You can watch TV on the sofa or in comfort of your bed. Our kitchen is equipped with all the tools for a three course meal if that is something your heart desires.

Dunblane Charm

Dunblane is one of the oldest settlements in Scotland and is a mix of old weaver cottages and new estates surrounded by beautiful countryside and farmland. The high street has a mix of architecture which lends a quaint feeling to the high street. It has a river, the Allan Water, which runs through it and provides lovely riverside walks. The town boasts a beautiful cathedral and cathedral museum. The oldest private library of Scotland, Leighton Library, is also located here and contains some of the rarest books found in Scotland. It also has a mainline train station to take you to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth and Stirling. Stirling is the nearest city to Dunblane, only 6 miles south of the town and is a short ride away by train or car. There are supermarkets, cafe and restaurants in Dunblane that would cover all your needs during your stay even if you did not travel further afield. There is parking on the street immediately in front of the cottage.  The train station is less than a two minute walk from the cottage where you can get to Glasgow within 41 minutes on a direct train (or 1 hour on an indirect train) or Edinburgh within  53 -63 minutes. Buses are regular, the closest bus stop is a two minute walk from the cottage.
